Codes of Conduct Policy for Parents & Participants

Player/Participant

As a young person participating in our sessions I would like you to follow this guidance to

make sure you are able and contribute to make it player safe.

Listen to the coach, behave responsibly and speak out if something isn’t right.

Please remain with Coach for the duration of session particularly if Parent/Carer is not in attendance.

Take care of the equipment and facilities on the premises.

Please aim to arrive on time in the case of late arrival or non participation

please message ahead of the session for courtesy.

Bring the correct kit for practice, appropriate footwear, shinpads, hydration and clothes suitable for all weather conditions.

Celebrating and respect differences do not discriminate against either gender, race, religion or ability.

Help report any instances of bullying to make the session a welcoming and friendly environment.


Respect all staff within the premises from the coach to those that run the facility.

Parent/ Carer

Talk to the coach if you have any concerns around your child's involvement - I want to hear from you.

Complete registration document giving as much detail to help me support your child throughout their time and inform promptly when anything changes.

Encourage your child and behave in a positive way and how this affects not only your childbut the other young people and parents/ carers also.

Take time to talk with your child before and after the session about what you both want forbthem to achieve and what they are getting out of the participation. Don't focus on the wins and losses. Think socially, development over time, physical exercise.

Be a role model display respect, good punctuality arriving and on pick up, show good etiquette.

Support your child, let them lead you , and be a listener when you communicate.
